An event to meet 400 new customers? The Dutch Lotus User Group 'SNUG' (founded 1994) has set higher targets than ever before. Over two days, we expect a total of over 400 attendees.
The Amsterdam area is a perfect location for both local and international visitors. The city is excellently accessible thanks to the great public transport infrastructure and the proximity of Amsterdam international airport 'Schiphol'.
The Dutch Audience: What to Expect? The Netherlands, in itself the 16th biggest economy worldwide, counts numerous multi-national enterprises and a strong and healthy SMB market. IT management, developers, consultants and admin/infrastructure specialists from these companies will be looking for solutions for their business and tools to facilitate their daily work and reduce the costs of labor.
Many of these visitors will go home with new ideas and plans. You, as either supplier, manufacturer or consultant, do not want to miss the opportunity to get on top of their to-do list once they get back at their jobs. Even while one 3rd of the sessions is in Dutch, the default conference language is English.
Proven Track Record: it will be crowded.
We learned from last year's budgets that we had to put visitors on a waiting list. But thanks to additional sponsor budgets this year, we are now working on an event that could host up to 500 people.
But unlike at commercial events, we think that sponsoring should be a win-win relationship between organization and sponsors.
The Exhibition / Showcase Area: Central meeting spot
To maximize contact between attendees and sponsors / exhibitors, we have arranged that all catering is in or around the exhibition area. You won't be put in a backroom. Instead all exhibitors will be in the central meeting and catering area where people grab a coffee or a sandwich.

At the conference, you can select any of the following sponsor packages: Platinum, Gold, or Exhibitor sponsor. Details are described below. Options can be combined for business partners that operate together for both sponsorship as for exhibitor space. Spectacular Conference Location
The Amsterdam ArenA could hold up to 50.000 attendees. OK, we've only hired the so-called 'main tribune' for 450 people for Thursday morning's General Opening, but sponsor logo's will show up on two LED displays of 62 mē (670 sq ft) each!

The 'small print' VAT: All prices mentioned exclude Dutch VAT (Value Added Taxes). VAT is not applicable if:
1) Your company has an invoice address + VAT number within the European Union (outside the Netherlands); you need to supply us with your VAT-number.
OR
2) Your company is based outside the European Union
In all other circumstances (including all Dutch Business partners) 19,0% VAT is added.
Sponsorship only valid after payment.
Your status as sponsor will only be valid if payment has been received in full. SNUG will do everything possible to assist a smooth billing process to assist you. Unfortunately we cannot handle credit card payments, so wire transfer or certified checks are preferred.
Sponsorship on first-come / first-serve base
We cannot guarantee you any particular order or right, unless you have agreed so with one of our board members and payment has been received in full at the same time.
Each exhibition area booth (details and logistics here) consists of the following:
1) Signage with your company logo, company/product name, 2-3 lines of text about you (see pictures above for examples)
2) Desk/table with space for 2 laptops and brochures
3) Socket with 220V AC current
